2015
It's Her Life was painted in 2015, a few months after Mia was born. Created in acrylic on navy illustration board, the 22 × 14 inch painting places a woman in profile within a field of layered color and flowing movement.
The original was later raffled and now lives in a private collection. Years after the painting was created, it continued to resurface through photographs, conversations and the idea of bringing the artwork onto a mug.

From an early social media post in 2015 to the painting finding a new home, inspiring a mug concept and eventually becoming one years later, these pieces from the archive follow It's Her Life across time.
September 16, 2015
An early Instagram post documented the painting in progress in September 2015. The original post described the work through tags including acrylic, painting, illustration, woman, hair and fantasy.
Looking back years later, I noted that the painting had been made a few months after Mia was born.
September 18, 2023
The original painting was raffled and delivered to its winner. A photograph shared in 2023 shows It's Her Life displayed in its new home.
The image became another chapter in the history of the piece, documenting where the original went after leaving the studio.
2023
After the raffle delivery was shared, a comment asked whether copies of the painting might appear on a cup, T-shirt or as a print. I replied that I had plans and shared a mug mockup using the artwork.
The idea stayed in the archive, waiting for the right time to return.
2026
Three years after that conversation, I came back to the idea. The mockup that had been sitting in the archive became an actual piece in the Alex Reynoso Art shop.
The original painting remains in its private collection, but the artwork now has another life of its own.
