About Alex
I'm Alex Reynoso, a visual artist born in the Dominican Republic and raised in New York City. Those two worlds have shaped how I see, question and create.
My work moves between painting, illustration, sculpture, animation, video and digital media. I've never been particularly interested in limiting an idea to one medium. Sometimes it becomes a painting. Sometimes it's animation. Sometimes it's a dancing animal that probably shouldn't be dancing.
Art has always been a way to explore the familiar, question what we think we know and discover something unexpected along the way.
