01 / Music Visual Commission
ShelitaHOLA.
A visual world developed around singer-songwriter Shelita's song Hola , combining atmospheric environments, compositing, motion and surreal imagery.
The Song
It started with Hola.
Shelita reached out with her song Hola and an invitation to develop a visual experience around the music.
From there, the project became an exploration of color, atmosphere, movement and romantic, dreamlike imagery , building a world that could live alongside the song rather than simply illustrating it.
02 / Building The World
Start with pieces.
Build a place.
Individual visual elements were layered into an atmospheric environment and then developed further through movement, editing and compositing.
Set the atmosphere.
Color, landscape and light established the dreamlike visual language of the project.
Add the unexpected.
Glowing objects, surreal imagery and individual visual pieces gave the world its personality.
Make the world move.
Animation, compositing and editing transformed the still ingredients into a moving visual experience.
03 / In Motion
The environment comes alive.
A still environment becomes a moving backdrop , one of the layers used to construct the final visual.
04 / Behind The Scenes
Layer by layer.
A look inside the process as the individual pieces are combined, adjusted and developed into the finished visual world.
Building the visual
Compositing + movement
The Result
A visual world for Hola.
The finished project brings together atmospheric landscapes, surreal elements, motion and compositing to create a visual companion to Shelita's music.
The project began with a song. Everything else grew from there.
